Features & benefits
Thick rubber for animal comfort
The 17 mm rubber bed cushions hooves and weight, so animals stand and lie down more comfortably through long hours in the stall.
Hygienic and quick to wash down
The dense surface resists soaking up dirt and animal waste, which means a hose and a scrape clean the mat quickly and keep the stall hygienic.
Anti-slip under hooves
The textured rubber holds footing on a wet floor, so animals step on and off the mat steadily instead of sliding on bare concrete.
Durable one-piece sheet
The large 1830 × 1220 mm mat reduces the number of seams where dirt collects, standing up to daily livestock use.
Rubber cow mats – comfort, safety and superior hygiene
Made from 100% new rubber, our stable mats turn a cold, hard concrete base into a comfortable, dry and warmer bed. Fitting rubber mats in stalls encourages the animals' natural behaviour — cows lie down more easily and readily, rest longer and get up more safely, which directly improves hygiene, reduces stress and increases milk yield.
Key advantages of our rubber mats:
- Studded (anti-slip) top surface: The raised studded texture on the top side provides excellent grip. It prevents slipping and joint injuries when the animal stands up, giving cows stability and confidence with every step.
- Relief for joints and hooves: The 17 mm rubber thickness absorbs the pressure and considerable weight of the animal. The rubber acts as a shock absorber that dramatically reduces the load on tendons during long periods of standing.
- Drainage grooves on the underside: The underside of the mat is not smooth but profiled with grooves. These allow liquids (urine and water) to drain away freely and let air circulate beneath the mat itself. This prevents moisture from lingering and bacteria from developing under the rubber.
- Simple maintenance: Vulcanised natural rubber does not absorb slurry. Thanks to the space between the studs, the surface can be washed down with a jet of water or scraped clean very quickly and effectively, returning the stall to a hygienic state.
How to fit a cow stable mat
Clean and level the stall floor, then lay the rubber mat flat against the back wall. Butt mats edge to edge where a stall needs more than one.
Cut to the shape of the stall with a sharp knife if needed, and weight or fix the edges so the mat stays in place under hoof traffic.
Hose down and scrape the surface as part of your regular cleaning routine to keep it hygienic.

Frequently asked questions
How thick is the cow stable mat?
The mat is 17 mm of dense rubber, thick enough to cushion hooves and weight through long hours of standing while staying wear resistant.
Is it anti-slip when wet?
Yes. The textured rubber surface holds footing on a hosed-down floor, so animals step on and off the mat steadily.
How big is one mat?
Each cow stable mat measures 1830 × 1220 mm, covering a generous stall area per piece, so fewer seams remain between mats.
