The sloped profile brings the floor down to ground level at the perimeter. That ramp turns an exposed tile edge into a smooth border that trolleys or a jack roll over without catching.

How to fit garage tile edge pieces
Lay the field tiles first, then click the edge pieces along the open perimeter. Each ramp connects to the outer tile the same way two field tiles join, so no adhesive is needed for a standard installation.
Cut a piece to length at a corner with a sharp knife. Work outwards from one fixed corner to keep the border line straight.
